Jhansi Rani is an accomplished environmental professional with over 26 years of experience in training, monitoring & evaluation, action research, and documentation across government and non-government sectors. She holds an M.Tech in Environmental Management and an M.Sc. in Environmental Science, both with distinction. she has held leadership roles at Commitments Trust, NABCONS (NABARD), Remote Sensing Instruments, Social Audit. She also worked as faculty in TSIPARD in NRM and Social Audit.

She played a key role for establishing Social Audit and conducted significant audits and evaluations in rural development and watershed programs. Jhansi Rani has authored numerous national and international research publications focused on climate change, biodiversity, livelihoods, and watershed management. She is skilled in GIS, remote sensing, and environmental monitoring tools. She is also a recognized trainer and empanelled faculty with the Government of India for Petroleum Conservation and Research Association (PCRA), Ministry of natural gas. Her work emphasizes watershed, NRM, agriculture and sustainable development.
